President's Message
Dear Colleague, I am pleased to serve as the President of the International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery (ISMICS) for the 2014-2015 year and proud to follow so many innovative leaders in the minimally invasive surgery field. I appreciate the support of the ISMICS membership and look forward to a successful year.
We were proud to host this year’s Annual Meeting in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, which was the 17th Anniversary of the Society. The 2014 Annual Meeting had the highest attendance on record for North America, with a total of 588 attendees. The Society now has 871 members representing almost every region of the world and we are continuing to grow. I would like to thank Dr. Francis Ferdinand for his successful term as president which culminated in an excellent Annual Meeting. ISMICS 2015 Annual Meeting
